Born and raised in Rimini, Italy's Fellini hometown on the Adriatic coast, Antonella Zangheri hails from an Italian father and a Dutch mother. She moved to the states in the early 90s to attend college at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California and established herself in the world of advertising, fashion, and photography in New York City. But upon being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, she took baking classes at the National Gourmet Institue and the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY and changed her focus to crafting only naturally gluten-free pastries and creating Krumville Bake Shop.
